Blog Title: How Many Hours a Week Does a Homemaker Work, Anyway?

Blog Introduction:

As a traditional wife and homemaker, I have often been asked by friends, family, and strangers: how many hours a week do you work? It's an interesting question since being a homemaker does not come with a set schedule - it's a 24/7 job. But, I'll do my best to break it down for you. Being a homemaker is just as much work as any other full-time job. In this blog post, I will share with you just how many hours a week I work on a schedule-free lifestyle.

Blog Body:

First and foremost, let's get this out of the way - being a homemaker does not mean being lazy. We work hard and put many hours into every day, but it's not the kind of work that requires you to clock in and out of your job. It's more of an around the clock job that requires you to always be on your toes.

As a homemaker, the work never ends. We work around the clock, every day of the week, every day of the year. There are no weekends off, no paid holidays, no vacation or sick days. We're always available to tend to our home, our family, and our pets.

On average, I work 12-14 hours a day, seven days a week. Waking up early, I begin my day by preparing breakfast, cleaning up last night's dishes, and planning out dinner. I then move on to laundry, cleaning the house, running errands, and anything else that needs to be done for the day.

Once the day starts to wind down, it's time to start dinner. This usually takes up the bulk of my afternoon. After dinner, it's clean-up time, bath time for the kids, winding down for bed, and then handling any last-minute chores before finally getting to relax for the night.

If you're wondering how many hours a homemaker works per week, the answer is approximately 84-98 hours per week depending on your speed and family size. In other words, being a homemaker isn't just a full-time job, it's a lifestyle.

Conclusion:

Being a homemaker is a choice and a job that requires a lot of work, dedication, and love. It's not for everyone, but it's the right choice for those of us who treasure it. Our roles have been reduced or criticized by society, but being a homemaker is an invaluable job. Even though we don't punch a clock, our job is just as important and integral as any job out there. Being a homemaker is a calling, and it's a job that comes with great rewards and fulfillment. The hours may be long, but the rewards are worth every second we put in.
