Welcome back to our third day of deep cleaning! If you've been following along, kudos to you for tackling your cleaning tasks head-on. Today's focus will be on the often-neglected areas of under the bed and nightstands. If you're guilty of using under the bed as a storage space or have kids that enjoy shoving things under there, now is the time to tackle that mess!

Let's start with under the bed. It's amazing how much clutter can accumulate in this hidden area. Start by pulling out everything from under the bed and sorting through it. If you haven't seen some of these items in a while, it might be time to throw them out or donate them. Once you've cleared everything out, sweep or vacuum the area thoroughly. Consider using storage containers to help keep items organized and easily accessible when needed.

Now let's move on to nightstands. These small pieces of furniture can quickly become cluttered with random items like magazines, half-empty cups, and forgotten snacks. Start by emptying the nightstand completely and wiping it down with a damp cloth. Take this opportunity to throw away any trash and organize the remaining items. Consider using drawer dividers to help keep everything in its own place. And if you're feeling fancy, add a small tray or dish to hold small items like jewelry or loose change.

If your nightstand has a drawer, don't forget to give it a good clean too. Remove all the contents and wipe it down with a damp cloth. Consider lining the drawer with a pretty liner to add a bit of charm and help keep items from sliding around.

Lastly, tackle the area behind the nightstand. It's amazing how much dust can accumulate in this area. Use a microfiber duster or a vacuum with a crevice tool to reach all the nooks and crannies. This area is also prone to becoming a spider haven, so take this opportunity to wipe down the area with an insect repellant.

Congratulations on making it through day three of your deep cleaning journey! Tackling under the bed and nightstands can be a daunting task, but it's important to address these often-neglected areas. Not only will your space look neater and more organized, but it will also be a more enjoyable space to relax in at the end of a long day. Keep up the great work and stay tuned for tomorrow's deep clean task!
