Surviving Day 14 of the Month-Long Cleaning Challenge: Tackling the Heart of the Home
Welcome back to my month-long cleaning challenge, ladies! I hope you’ve been keeping up with me and haven’t given up. Today, we’re heading back to the kitchen to clean out those cabinets that have been collecting dust and clutter. I know the kitchen can be overwhelming, but don’t worry, I’ve got plenty of tips to make it a breeze. So, grab a cup of coffee and let’s get started!

First things first, let's take everything out of the cabinets and give them a good wipe down. I suggest starting with one cabinet at a time and giving it your full attention. Sometimes when we try to take on the whole kitchen at once, we can get discouraged. It’s important to stay focused and motivated. Once the cabinets are empty, it’s time to start organizing. I recommend grouping like items together, such as coffee mugs or baking supplies, for easy access in the future.

Now that we have everything sorted, it's time to take a good hard look at what we have and what we no longer need. This is the perfect opportunity to toss out expired goods or donate items that we no longer use. Believe me, it can be tough to say goodbye to that old blender or set of Tupperware that hasn’t been used in years, but it's important to let go of items that no longer serve a purpose.

We often forget about the fronts of the cabinets- they can accumulate grease and grime over time and may require a little extra elbow grease to get them looking shiny and new again.

Finally, it’s time to put everything back where it belongs. Now that our cabinets and pantry are looking their best, we want to ensure they'll stay that way. I suggest trying to keep everything off the countertop and tucked away in their proper places. A helpful tip is to use drawer dividers or shelves to maximize space and prevent clutter from piling up again.

Great job, ladies! We survived day 14 of our month-long cleaning challenge, and our kitchen is looking better than ever. Remember, the key to tackling any project is taking things one step at a time, staying motivated, and staying focused. After a long day of cleaning, let’s put our feet up and enjoy a job well done. Until next time!
